Guest Speaker

Justice Verda M. Colvin was appointed to the Georgia Supreme Court by Governor Brian Kemp on July 20, 2021, after having been appointed by Governor Kemp to the Georgia Court of Appeals in April, 2020. Prior to joining the Court of Appeals, she spent nearly six years as a Superior Court Judge in the Macon Judicial Circuit.

An Atlanta native, Justice Colvin began her legal career in private practice in Charlotte, NC.  She returned to Georgia to serve as an Assistant Solicitor in Athens-Clarke County before becoming Assistant General Counsel at Clark Atlanta University.  She returned to government service as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Middle District of Georgia before becoming a judge.

All attendees will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination OR negative COVID-19 test. For entry to the event, all attendees must present a paper or digital/photo record* of one of the following:

**COVID-19 Vaccination Card dated to confirm full vaccination**
*Negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test results within 72 hours of the event
*We will accept digital vaccination passports such as the Clear Health Pass, or a good old fashioned photo of your vaccine card along with a state-issued photo ID
*Full vaccination as defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC): 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine

The Foundry at Puritan Mill holds 800 guests for a seated dinner. Our 200-person event will have plenty of space. In addition, dining tables typically used for 12 people will be seated for 10.
